Yes, I, too, resent Mr Johnson for surviving coornonavirus when retired NHS doctors he called in, and young nurses with kids, have not. I was just reading about the Netherlands, which apparently made exactly the same mistakes as the UK. It does seem to be a general feature of the reaction of every single country that the initial response is "It won't happen here". the difference lies in how quickly they change their minds and start to institute measure (and how effectively those measures are implemented).
