I've been off-line for over a week because we've just moved house but the computers haven't yet moved in with us, so this comes rather belatedly, but it was a wonderful surprise to read all those birthday greetings. I had no idea people even knew when my birthday was, which made it weven more thrilling. Thank you so much! I don't know how much I'll be around this coming week either, as I'm in England for five days (my dad's been diagnosed with cancer and there's something of a gathering of the clans as we all want to spend some time with him before he starts feeling crap from the therapy). He has a broadband connection - yay! - but I don't know how often I'll be able to invade his study to use it, quite aside from the fact that I'll be competing for access with three of my siblings (another sister is due on Tuesday and the one from Aberdeen comes on Wednesday, but I'll be heading back for Austria then, which is a shame as it would have been cool to have all the offspring together).

Five of us kids are Buffy fans, so we spent yesterday evening singing songs from the musical while doing the washing up. Get us an agent and we could be the von Crap family singers.
