To think I was worried about the dog killing the kittens! My greatest concern now is that they will be licked to death. Mephisto seems to enjoy it, and rolls over on his back to have his tummy fur nibbled, but Mowgli doesn't like being babied, and goes off and hides in his cat nest (the ground floor of the dolls' house), whence he glares balefully at Lucky as only a cat can.
