I have been Very Ill for the past two days, and spent Monday night throwing up (twelve times! This is definitely a personal record, but probably not yet Olympic Standard up-chucking). Yesterday I was nailed to my bed, but today I have recovered enough to wash my hair and take Flan down to the stream to chase frogs. There are millions of frogs this year, and all of them have sex on their mind, or at least they to until Flan comes galumphing through the water, trying to catch them.
He and I are on our own because most of the rest of the family has gone on a long-planned day hike, which I am missing because I still feel wobbly, and he is missing because he's really too young to walk that far, and since someone was going to be at home anyway, he got left behind. Bexy is also missing the hike because she is on a three-day photoshoot in Budapest, staying in posh hotels and earning money to pay for Flan's jabs and general upkeep. I have at least been to Budapest, so I don't feel I'm missing out there, but I haven't been to the Johannesbachklamm, sulk sulk.
In other news, Wolfgang has had several job interviews and thinks he is pricing himself too low, which is encouraging. He is much happier and less stressed now he knows he's finally quitting his old job, and he hasn't had any more weird migraines.
