We took the kittens to the vet last week and found out that they are both male, not a boy and a girl, as we originally thought, so a quick spot of renaming took place and they are now known as Mowgli and Mephisto. Mephisto is black and slender and had the vet worried, because his little tummy was so hard and distended, but it turned out to be nothing more sinister than a bellyful of worms, and an hour after he'd been force-fed de-worming paste, he was racing around like his brother. They've also been de-flea'd and had their first shots, and thanks to the dog being far more understanding than we'd expected, they now have the run of the whole house. Every time anyone goes into the kitchen, they run after them, in the hope that they might be going to open a tin of cat food.
Anyway, here are the boys, in all their cuteness.
This is Mowgli, looking tiny and fluffy, the day after we got him.

This is the pair of them playing, back when they were still confined to Bexy's bedroom.

And here they are, cuddling.
